NEIGHBOURS HELP ELDERLY WOMAN IN CENTRAL COAST HOUSE FIRE
An elderly women has suffered burns to her face and legs in a house fire on the Central Coast overnight.
Shortly after 2am, emergency services responded to reports of a house fire on Mimosa Avenue, Saratoga.
Neighbours had worked to gain entry to the home, an off-duty firefighter helping the 93-year-old.
Fire fighters were able to extinguish the fire a short time later.
The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital for treatment of burns to her face and legs.
The off-duty firefighter was also treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire is not being treated as suspicious.
