There’s good news for Newcastle beachgoers with the iconic Bogey Hole set to be reopened by the state government.
The date is expected to be announced tomorrow by Parliamentary Secretary for the Hunter, Scot MacDonald.
The pool has been closed to the public for over a year, following concerns about the stability of an overhanging cliff.
Work to reinforce the cliff started last month… new rock fencing and a chain link around the pool has also been installed.
