A 31-year-old man has undergone surgery after being glassed in the face near Lake Macquarie.
Shortly before 8pm on Friday, emergency services responded to reports of an assault at a hotel on Wilsons Road, Mount Hutton.
The male victim was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital for minor surgery.
Investigations suggest the man was hit in the face with a glass. The injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
