A new tourism website has been launched, in the hope of luring more visitors to the Greater Port Macquarie area.
It highlights the main attractions of the region – including Wauchope and Camden Haven – and includes a booking portal.
“There’s so much more information on this website – it’s easily accessible – it’s also mobile-friendly, which is really important in this sort of mobile-digital age,” Port Macquarie-Hastings Mayor Peter Besseling said.
It’s hoped the website will further boost Port Macquarie’s $423 million visitor economy.
“We know we’ve got a wonderful product, and the area’s fantastic, so it’s important that people can actually see and visualise that through the website and decide they want to make a holiday here,” Greater Port Macquarie Tourism Association President Jeanette Hyde said.
