A 39-year-old man has been refused bail after he allegedly threatened a family with a firearm while they were camping south of Grafton.
Police say a man and his two teenage children were camping at a reserve on Doboy Road at Buccarumbi on Tuesday night, when the man approached them.
It’s alleged he threatened them with a gun before driving off. Two shots were heard a short time later.
Yesterday afternoon a man was arrested at his Dalmorton home before he was charged with a string of offences including five counts of intimidation.
He’s due to face Grafton Local Court on January 23.
