• A large bushfire at Abermain in the Hunter Valley – has now been upgraded to Watch and Act. Fire crews are battling to bring the blaze under control – it’s burnt through more than 800-hectares of bushland.
• Police are hunting a driver involved in a fatal hit and run at Wickham in Newcastle this morning – which claimed the life of a 36-year-old woman.
• A Sydney worker’s lost his bid for a share of a $40-million Powerball jackpot won by his co-workers.
• And rapper Kanye West has met with US President elect Donald Trump – to discuss “multicultural issues.”
