DREAMWORLD PREPARES TO REOPEN AFTER RIDE TRAGEDY
Dreamworld is preparing to reopen tomorrow, six weeks after four people died at the Gold Coast theme park.
Its sister park WhiteWater World will also open its doors again, on what will be the first day of Queensland’s summer school holidays.
Kate Goodchild, Luke Dorsett, Roozi Araghi and Cindy Low were killed when the popular Thunder River Rapids ride malfunctioned on October 25.
Several key attractions at Dreamworld will remain closed as they are yet to complete a four-tier safety review ordered after the tragedy.
Dreamworld will donate $25 from every ticket sale over the weekend to the Australian Red Cross.
