A young Narrabri woman’s final wish to meet her NRL hero was granted overnight.
Kia Lettice was in her final hours battling terminal ovarian cancer when her best friend posted a status on Facebook, pleading for rugby league star Beau Ryan to pay a visit.
Minutes later, Ryan replied saying he was ‘on his way’ from Shell Harbour, arriving at Kia’s bedside within two hours.
The 22-year-old even received a kiss on the cheek from the former Sharks star.
Kia is still fighting her battle as we go to air this evening.
