TAGGART SET TO FACE THE JETS FOR THE FIRST TIME

It’ll be an unusual night for Adam Taggart this Saturday, when the former Jet faces the club that launched his A-League career.
“Obviously everyone going up against their former club, it’s a more special game. I had such a good time there in terms of the last 12 months I had. Newcastle has a special place in my heart.”
Socceroo Josh Risdon trained with Glory today, and is a chance to return early from a quad strain.
While Taggart says he’s back to full fitness after the injury battles he’s faced since leaving Newcastle.
“Over the two years that i’ve had the injury spells, i’ve never lost motivation, and working as hard as I could. And it was no different in this smaller stint on the sidelines.
