MOTORBIKE INVOLVED IN HIGH SPEED CRASH AT KARIONG
A motorbike rider in his teens has been airlifted to hospital after a serious accident on the Central Coast last night.
Just before 8pm on Friday, emergency services responded to reports of a motor cycle crash on the Central Coast Highway in Kariong.
According to police, the motorcycle was speeding before losing control, and crashing into a rock wall on the northern end of the carriageway.
The male rider, aged 17, was treated at the scene before being airlifted to Royal North Shore hospital.
He remains in a critical condition.
Police are urging any witnesses to come forward.
