CALLINAN CLINGS ONTO WOULD TOUR SPOT AT SUNSET

Ryan Callinan’s re-qualification for surfing’s world tour remains on track.

The Merewether local moved into the third round of the season-ending qualifying series event in Hawaii, with this last-minute ride.

Callinan currently sits in 9th on the qualifying series ladder, with the top 10 securing a spot on the championship tour.

He’ll need to make at least one more heat to better his current point-score.

Callinan will face Central Coast stalwart Adrian Buchan, and current QS leader Connor O’Leary in the next round.
