The wait continues for Port Macquarie surfer Matt Banting, after another lay-day was called at the World Cup in Hawaii.
Only one round has been completed at Sunset Beach this week, due to poor conditions.
Banting will start against Brazilian Miguel Pupo in Heat 15 of Round 3.
The 21-year-old is fighting to remain on the Championship Tour next year.
