Christmas came early for some Hunter residents today, with Samaritans hosting its annual festive party for those with a disability.
More than 450 people gathered at Hamilton North Bowling Club for the big event.
“It’s a great time to reconnect, and to enjoy friendship and a nice lunch together, as we celebrate Christmas,” said Samaritans CEO Peter Gardiner.
The event is a lead-up to the International Day of People with a Disability, which Samaritans will officially mark on Saturday.
