NOISE WOES BEING ADDRESSED

Roads and Maritime Services has finished installing 28 noise loggers for the Nambucca Heads to Urunga section of the Pacific Highway.
The devices measure noise levels produced by vehicles travelling on the road.
It comes after residents at Raleigh raised concerns over the noise caused by trucks late at night.
Urunga and Valla Beach locals have also questioned the noise.
An RMS spokesperson says it’s working to reduce the impacts on those properties.
