A 16-year-old boy has been charged after allegedly assaulting a disabled man in Tamworth on Monday.
The 23-year-old man was walking through a park in South Tamworth on Monday night when we was approached by two males.
One of the men assaulted him, before forcing a football into his face and kicking him.
The man managed to escape and ran to his home where police were later contacted.
The teen was later arrested at a home on Kurrawan Street and will face Children’s Court in June.
