The Baird Government has awarded a $24.4-million tender for the completion of stage two of the Lake Keepit safety upgrades.
To be undertaken by SRG Limited, the works will bring the dam into line with current Water New South Wales guidelines.
With Lake Keepit at 99 per cent capacity, the upgrades will continue to ensure water security for the region.
Construction is expected to commence early next year.
