Firefighters have managed to save homes from a bushfire at Buttaba, south of Toronto.
The fire ignited just after 11.30 this morning.
Police closed Buttaba Hills Road, as firefighters prepared to protect properties.
However there was good news, when RFS and Fire and Rescue New South Wales crews managed to contain the fire.
The fire has burnt through close to 100 hectares of bushland.
