One of the Coffs Coast’s best surfers is in the running for a massive payday.
Jayke Sharp has made the top 8 of the Oakley Battle where video clips are judged equally by the public and a panel of experts for surfing’s best ride.
Later this month the 4 surfers with the highest scores will head to Hawaii to star in a surf film based on the clips.
The winner, to be revealed in Newcastle next February, will paddle away with $20,000 cash and $5,000 worth of camera gear.
