A police strike-force has been formed to investigate two recent shootings at Nambucca Heads, which are believed to be linked.
On Sunday November 6, a 21-year-old man was shot in the stomach outside a Raliegh Street home.
Police believe the same gun may have been used in another shooting nine days earlier.
“During the evening, a firearm was discharged into Palmer Street at Nambucca Heads, it was discharged through the window, we believe that it was a 22 calibre firearm, thankfully no person was injured as a result of that.”
Police are appealing for any information.
