Local junior Dylan Phythian has completed his journey from pub footy to full time NRL player, today finalising a one year contract with the Knights.
The 21-year-old made his debut for Newcastle in round 25, and also played in the final game of the season against the Dragons.
Phythian can play at fullback, in the halves or at hooker, and says his goal for 2017 is to cement a spot in first grade.
