Quirindi junior Sam Carter is on his way to Europe, after being called into the Wallabies Spring Tour squad due to injury.
The second rower has pulled on the gold jersey just once this year, against England in June.
He’s expected to play a part in the match against the French Barbarians on November 25.
Tamworth product Paddy Ryan has also been added to the Australian camp.
His call up a reward for leading the New South Wales Country Eagles to the National Rugby Championship decider.
