Kyogle motocross rider Dean Ferris has finished runner-up in the Australian Supercross Championship, following a solid performance at the Aus-X Open in Sydney.
Despite having no experience racing indoors, Ferris quickly adapted – breezing through his heats to finish 5th and 8th in the two finals.
Those points helped him move to second overall, 16 shy of Justin Brayton.
