ANIMAL BAN AFTER SHOCKING CRUELTY CASE

An East Maitland woman who starved and neglected a Rottweiller has been put on a 12-month Good Behaviour Bond and banned from owning an animal for five years.
The Rottweiller called Grizzly was seized from the home of Jessica May Carless in January this year. The dog was badly emaciated and riddled with fleas.
A vet found two-and-half year-old Grizzly had not been fed properly in at least four weeks and hadn’t received treatment for the flea infestation for 28 days.
Grizzly has since found a new home with a family, and has his very own man cave.
