A 22-year-old woman was rushed to hospital after being run over by a ute at an dance party on the Far North Coast early this morning.
Emergency services were called to Shara Boulevard at Ocean Shores at 1.15am to reports a woman had been crushed.
She was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics and taken to Tweed District Hospital in a stable condition.
Police were told the woman was laying under a Nissan utility and was crushed when the driver attempted to move his vehicle.
Officers attached to Richmond Crash Investigation Unit are investigating the incident.
