After some speculation, the Mariners have ruled out playing an A-League finals game in Canberra, should they make it.
It comes ahead of this Saturday’s fixture in the nation’s capital against Wellington.
The side returned to training today following their 2-1 win over Adelaide, which was sealed by a Connor Pain screamer in the 57th minute.
“It was just instinctual I cut in on my right foot and just tried to put it where it ended up but obviously a lot of the times it doesn’t end up there so I was just happy it flew into the top corner”
