TEENAGER CHARGED AFTER THREATENING A BYSTANDER WITH TOY PISTOL
A teenager has been charged after allegedly threatening a person with a toy pistol in a car park on the Central Coast.
Around 11 o’clock on Friday morning, a 17-year-old boy was at a store in a shopping centre in Tuggerah, when he became abusive towards staff.
He allegedly damaged store fixtures and some mannequins, before smashing a large glass panel while he was leaving.
He then became involved in an argument with a person in the car park. He pointed what appeared to be a pistol at them before driving away.
Around 7.30pm, the boy attended a local police station, where he was charged with two counts of malicious damage and one count of affray.
He is expected to appear in court on 22 November.
A cap gun was also seized from him.
