Tamworth cyclist Sam Spokes is on the hunt for a new professional contract, after his two-year deal with Drapac expired.
The 24-year-old was was overlooked for a spot, when his former team merged with Cannondale.
Negotiations with several European Pro-Continental outfits are currently slow, with the second tier teams waiting to see if any World Tour athletes become available.
Despite the wait, Spokes remains confident of securing a ride.
