Suns’ skipper, Gary Ablett has firmed in Brownlow Medal betting after last night collecting a record fourth A-F-L Players Association M-V-P trophy.. at a gala awards ceremony in Melbourne.
The 28-year-old polled a staggering 788 votes in the award.. voted on by his peers.
“I really don’t know what to say I didn’t expect this.”
The win could herald a second Brownlow Medal for the humble on-baller.
Despite the Suns only winning three games this season, “Gaz” topped the league in kicks and handballs and scored 26 goals.
