A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A SCIENTIST AT UNE
Primary school students from across the North West got a glimpse into the life of a scientist at the University of New England today.
Students learned about human anatomy, chemistry and physics, in an effort to open their minds to a potential career in science.
“They see lightbulb moments with kids and that’s inherently rewarding for academics when they see that happen.”
More than 1200 students have visited the campus over the past two days for the ‘Far Out Science’ expo.
This was the eighth year the event has been held.
