A truck driver has escaped without injury, following another accident on the Pacific Highway this morning.
The B-Double was travelling southbound at 4am when it left the roadway at Kiwarrak, crossing through the medium strip and into a northbound lane.
“It’s very early in the investigation stage where all the possible causes which would be mechanical failure, driver fatigue, including road services are all still being examined at this stage,” said Inspector Alan Fidock from Manning-Great Lakes Police.
It’s the third truck accident in the Manning-Great Lakes area in less than a month.
