ICONIC BUILDING ON ITS WAY OUT

The iconic Hastings River Fishermen’s Co-Op building in Port Macquarie will be gone before Christmas.
The State Government has awarded a $110,000 contract for the demolition of the building, which was vacated in June.
The connecting wharf will also be removed, making way for a revamp of the foreshore area.
Member for Port Macquarie Leslie Williams says designs for the new wharf structure are in the works.
