An Armidale family has been left with nothing, after fire gutted their home this morning.
Emergency services were called to the Schultz Avenue property just before 11.30, amidst fears people were trapped inside.
The roof of the property collapsed due to the ferocity of the blaze, while fire crews quickly confirmed no one was inside.
Two dogs were retrieved from the rear of the property after the fire had been extinguished.
The cause is still unknown.
