Book lovers don’t need to look any further than Broadmeadow for their next read, with 15,000 books on offer at this weekend’s Monster Sale.
All items have been donated by Newcastle Library, with the proceeds going to Variety.
“We’re trying to get a support person for children who are diagnosed with rare and terminal illness and basically that person will be a connector and get them services they need when their child is in serious need,” said Kim Simpson from Variety the Children’s Charity.
The sale continues tomorrow at the PCYC.
