$3.3 MILLION FOR INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIANS IN THE NEW ENGLAND
The Federal Government has allocated more than $3.3 million in funding for Indigenous Australians in the New England region.
The funds will be provided to various health programs in the region, designed to achieve health equality between indigenous and non-indigenous Australians.
Member for New England, Barnaby Joyce, says the government aims to build a health system which is continually improving life expectancy and reducing child mortality rates for Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people.
