LAKE MAC CYCLING ROUTE EDGES CLOSER TO GLENDALE

Cyclists will soon be able to ride even further along Lake Macquarie’s shared pathway, with construction beginning on the crucial link from Boolaroo to Glendale.

The work along TC Frith Avenue will add a further 850 metres to the existing pathway.

Once complete, cyclists will be able to ride from Boolaroo’s Second Street to the Cockle Creek railway bridge.

The work is part of Lake Macquarie Council’s Cycling Strategy 2021, which aims to provide a connected, safe and functional bike network in the area.
