A 35-year-old woman has died in a car crash west of Ballina.
Emergency services were called to Ballina Road at Alstonville at around 3:30 yesterday afternoon.
Police believe the Mazda crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with the truck.
A woman was rushed to Lismore Hospital, but later died of her injuries, while the driver of the truck was uninjured.
Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
