DOG SQUAD TO SEARCH FOR WOMAN IN REMOTE SCRUBLAND
Police will search remote scrubland near Tamworth today in the search for a missing woman from the Central West.
Kay Pacey was last seen on August 8, when she was dropped at the intersection of Forrest Way and Black Gap Road, Niangala, by a taxi.
The 62-year-old was dropped at the location with clothes, food and other items.
She was reported missing to police last week, and concerns are held for her welfare due to medical issues.
A dog squad and police on trail bikes will search around the Hanging Rock State Forrest on the eastern side of Forrest Way.
Ms Pacey is described as being of Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander appearance, about 152cm to 162cm, with brown hair and green eyes.
