Newcastle cricket prodigy Jason Sangha has been given a berth in the Cricket Australia Eleven squad ahead of the final two Matador Cup matches.
The 17-year-old has been rushed into the side as an injury replacement for Victorian Bushrangers rookie, Sam Grimwade.
Sangha’s selection comes on the back of a successful year captaining the under-17 New South Wales Country side, and impressive performances in the 2015 under-17 and 19 national championships.
