MOTORBIKE RIDER LIFE CLAIMED IN FATAL ACCIDENT NEAR WALCHA

A man has died, following a motorcycle crash in Yarrowitch yesterday afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the incident about 80 kilometres south-east of Walcha – but sadly could not revive the rider.

Police would like to speak with the driver of a ute that had a dog on the back tray, which was travelling along Cells River Road around 2:30pm.

The man is yet to be formally identified, however, he is believed to be from Tasmania.
