UPDATE: HEAD-ON TRUCK CRASH BLOCKS PACIFIC HIGHWAY
Two people have been taken to John Hunter Hospital, following a head-on truck crash south of Taree.
Police say a B-double travelling south crossed to the wrong side of the road and collided with another truck along the Pacific Highway at Coolongolook late this morning.
Both drivers were rescued from their vehicles. Their conditions are unknown at this stage.
Northbound lanes have been blocked to motorists, with diversions in place.
