- The long running AFL drug scandal engulfing 34 “past and present” Essendon players looks to have come to an end, with the group losing an appeal to Switzerland’s Federal Supreme Court.
- The cyber security of the nation is under the miscroscope, with a new report revealing there’ve been more than a thousand attempts to access Government sites. It is not known what the motivation for the attack was, but experts have suggested it could be commercial, strategic or both.
- Electronics company Samsung is in crisis mode – announcing it has permanently discontinued production of the fire-prone “Galaxy Note-7” smartphones. The news comes after the tech-giant pulled the handsets from the shelves for the second time in as many months due to reports of the devices exploding.
- And how’s this for high class dining, thrill seekers in Sydney have enjoyed a meal with the ultimate view, on top of the Harbour Bridge. The pop up restaurant served two guests a top quality, three course meal.
