PORT MACQUARIE CUP GOES TO A ‘LOVING HOME’

The Port Macquarie cup drew the crowds today despite a bit of wet weather.
The Port 1200 metre sprint saw Oxford Poet lead from the barriers, to win by almost five lengths.
Prince Mayted looked like a sure second coming into the home stretch, until Kareems Edge snuck up the inside, narrowly taking out second place.
While in the main event, Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott’s gelding, Social Element lead the way.
The race of the day coming down to the line, with Winx Trainer, Chris Waller claiming the Port Cup.
Loving Home escaping a tight pack, winning by a nose.
