The Walcha Jockey Club has been named the New South Wales Community Race Club of the Year.
The club beat out 70 other racecourses, being recognised for its work in attracting big prizes and sponsors to their meets, while also giving some proceeds back to the community.
The Moree Race Club was also awarded an Outstanding Achievement Award for its contribution to the racing industry.
