The warm Spring conditions are enough to make anyone playful – and a couple of whale families were getting ‘slap happy’ in waters off Sydney’s Long Reef this morning.
The giant creatures, and a couple of little ones, were in no hurry to head back south to the chilly waters of the Antarctic – preferring to maintain ‘cruise control’.
One of the youngsters seemed to be reluctantly waving goodbye to Sydney.
