Police are investigating whether an act of road rage led to a two car crash near Forster on the mid north coast last night.
A green Mercedes sedan and Toyota Hilux were travelling south along The Lakes Way at Failford just after seven-thirty last night when they collided.
The ute rolled a number of times. Two men and two women inside suffered minor injuries and were airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.
The male driver of the other car wasn’t injured. He fled the scene and remains on the run.
Police believe the incident may have been linked to road rage and a third vehicle may have been involved prior to the collision.
Witnesses are urged to come forward.
