A man is dead after his motorbike collided with the back of a ute at Parkwood this morning.
The rider in his 30s was travelling northbound on Olsen Avenue just before one.
The 18 year old driver of the ute suffered minor injuries.
“It’s a bit early to say what the cause has been, speed may be a factor but that’s yet to be determined”
It’s the second fatality in 12 hours on the Gold Coast.
A 32 year old cyclist from Surfers Paradise was killed after colliding with a sedan at Mermaid Waters yesterday.
