Art exhibitions are usually open to well-known or experienced artists, but that wasn’t the case at Taree’s inaugural Pop-Up Modern Art Show, which started today.
The week-long display features more than 150 vibrant pieces, created solely by first-time artists.
“It just does wonders for their self esteem, and I’ve never seen so much excitement when they were setting this up and can’t imagine what it would be like if someone buys their painting.”
Children also aren’t overlooked, with a section specifically tailored to them.
