WEATHER HAMPERS WALLSEND WINTER FAIR ATTENDANCE

Crowd numbers were a little down this year, but around 20,000 people still took a stroll down Nelson Street, taking in all the sights and sounds of the Wallsend Winter Fair.

With around 150 stalls, there was something for everyone on Sunday, from those seeking a splash of colour or perhaps needing to rug up.

Judo displays attracted plenty of interest, so too the petting zoo and for the thrill-seekers there were plenty of rides on offer.
