More than 200 of New South Wales best young footballers have met at Coffs International Stadium today in the State Championships for Girls.
Seven member zones are competing against each other in the Under 12’s and 14’s divisions, from all over, including the Mid North Coast and Far North Coast.
Northern New South Wales Football panel says there are already some who are on the right path for national selection.
“There’s a few players who have started well, but obviously it’s early days and we’ll see how things develop in the next couple of days.”
The competition will be played throughout the weekend, before presentations on Monday afternoon.
