A 77-year-old man will face Newcastle Local Court next week, charged with 18 historic child sex offences.
Police allege the offences occurred in Newcastle between 1973 and 1977.
The man was arrested in Forster yesterday by detectives from the Lake Macquarie command.
He’s been refused bail and is due to front court on September 28.
